How to upload and add sound to objects

Sound is very important in your Transmedial World!

It makes narrative events more vivid and recreates scenes right in front of you on your Viewer.

It is very easy to add sound to your prims (primitives) on Open Sim.

In this session, we look at how you can make your simulations more realistic with up to 60'' sound files and the right 'Touch 60'' sound on/off' script (available in the round red cylinder on Helena's Sandbox for week two).

You can play looping sounds which are up to 10'' long, use the script "Loop sound on/off with Timer" in the round red object on the Sandbox.  scripts to play sound

To find out how to make your objects 'speak' and create the mood and atmosphere of the narrative, watchthis (Links to an external site.)

Watch the next video to find out how you can modify up to 1' sound files for use with Firestorm Viewer.

You will need to download Audacity a Free and open source digital audio editor and recording application software, available for Windows, macOS, Linux.
